Transactions Types
Remitit allows your company to process any type transaction that is mailed to your center. These transactions include Singles, Multiples, Correspondence; Check o­nly, List and Check, and Electronic Transactions. You set up the balancing regulations and your operators are prompted o­nly to evaluate the transactions that do not match that criteria.

Research/Archive
Remitit’s research solution presents various ways to retrieve processed data. With Remitit’s research solution, you can use any combination of MICR and data fields across any work to choose a specific transaction, view underlying items associated with that transaction, and  retain the previously input search criteria, expediting your research capabilities.
Our Archive feature is used to archive data, check, or coupon image files for sites that need to store amount of data for future recall. Data and images can be stored o­n any medium. Our preferred medium is Symco Group’s eStorage, which is a low cost Archive Medium where a client can store years of information o­n-line in real-time for a fraction of the cost of traditional storage jukeboxes. With Remitit’s Archive feature, the data can be viewed at any time, based o­n any search criteria that may be required.

Remote Capture and Distributed Data Entry
Every organization looks for ways to save money, increase productivity, and improve customer service. Remitit supports remote capture and remote keying anywhere over a wide area network. This allows work that is spread over multiple time zones to be keyed and balanced in order to meet crucial deadlines without the expense of overtime. All data is sent in secured individual packets to a central host, assuring data integrity o­n both sides.

Data Mining
Remitit provides a powerful set of query tools allowing management and the marketing department to research and mine important information about their customer base and their competitor’s customers. With imaging, you now have the name, address, and phone number, along with the MICR information of all checks that are captured o­n your Remitit system.

Multi-Day and Multi-Business Processing
Companies that process multiple businesses work will appreciate how easy it is to do with Remitit. When companies process for multiple businesses they have to be flexible and have the ability to meet the requirements for each client. Remitit enables you to perform multi-day and multi-institution processing even with diverse transactions and different types of transactions. Reports
Remitit provides a full offering of standard reports, along with the tools to create an unlimited number of customized reports that can be saved for future use. Our powerful reports module provides users the ability to select the fields necessary and then print, view, email and fax them as required.

Reject Re-Entry and Balancing
During reject re-entry and balancing, Remitit will display the item that needs to be corrected. That item is highlighted so the operator can easily concentrate o­n it for correction. After this is accomplished, Remitit automatically goes to the next item, eliminating the need to search for it.

Sort Pattern Generator
Our Sort Pattern Generator is unlike any o­n the market. It gives you and your operators 100% control over your sort pattern setup without any external programming. Remitit’s Sort Pattern Generator is designed so that the operator can set up sort patterns virtually by running a document down the track and building your tables from the document. As new patterns are required, just send the document down the track, capture the information, and build another table. It’s as easy as 1-2-3.

Internet/Intranet
Symco Group’s Remitit is a group of software tools that provide a protected access point to your database over the intranet or internet. Remitit allows anyone with the proper security authorizations, using either Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Netscape 4.0 or higher to research specific items, view item’s details, audit transactions, and view and print bank images and statements.

Email
Remitit is designed to send information and imaged documents to any customer who may need them. Each email will contain the front and rear images of the documents as an attachment to the email. This feature can also be setup to perform this task automatically.

Character Amount Recognition (CAR) and
Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR)
CAR and ICR is the process of automatically and electronically converting bitmap images of handwritten or printed numeric amounts, such as amounts written o­n checks, into data that a computer can read. The most prominent application for this technology is in banking and remittance shops.

Symco Group has teamed with Orbograph to incorporate their industry leading recognition solutions into Remitit remittance application. When incorporating Orbograph, Power Encode, and Remitit, your operation will be able to receive read rates in the high 90%, which will greatly improve your productivity and efficiency.

Power Encode
Power Encode substantially reduces the need for a proof department. O­nce an item has been captured, either at a central location, or branch capture, that item is displayed o­n a keying workstation display. At that point, it can be balanced. If the batch is already at the central location, it can be sent down the track and encoded. If it is in transit from a branch, it is ready for power encoding when it arrives. When Power Encode is combined with CAR/LAR/ICR, you will experience an enormous reduction in labor cost, better accuracy, and faster processing capabilities.

Grayscale and Bi-Tonal (Black-and-White) Image
Symco Group’s Remitit supports both grayscale imaging and Bi-Tonal (black-and-white) imaging.

File Export
During the installation process, Symco Group sets up Remitit to easily export and import files from any host system or archiving system.
